Efficacy studies

Anti-aging activity

A randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study in 22 healthy female volunteers (age 51 ± 6) was performed by the Skin Test Institute, Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

The cosmetic efficacy on dermal structure was measured and visualized by ultrasonography:

Day 0 Day 28 Day 56

Figure. Two typical volunteers showing clear signs of skin aging at baseline (Day 0). After 28 and 56 days of treatment with Dermatopoietin® the consistency of the dermis (collagen = green) and epidermis (yellow surface layer) significantly increased.

Effect on wrinkle size and depth was measured by profilometry:

Baseline after 4-week of Dermatopoietin®

The skin elasticity was determined by cutometry:

Figure. The skin elasticity significantly increased in the group of volunteers treated daily during 4 and 8 weeks with a cream containing Dermatopoietin® but not in the placebo group.

Dermatopoietin® and Hexadeltine® reduce fine wrinkles and skinfolds typical for the around-the-eye area.
